Victim Advocates are located at most police stations in Utah County to work with children and their families who have been abused.

The Utah County Attorney's Office takes child abuse seriously. They embrace their duty and obligation to protect the children in our community. Whenever evidence allows, criminal charges will be pursued against the abuser.

The Division of Child and Family Services investigates referred cases of child abuse and alerts the police if action is necessary to protect a child. DCFS helps the family build a child and family team of professional and community supports to ensure the safety of the child. This team creates an individualized child and family plan utilizing county services available for families. If you suspect abuse or neglect is occurring, call the Child Abuse/Neglect Hotline at (800) 678-9399
